Paperparking
Afterloadingfanfoldpaperfromtherearof theprinter,youdo nothaveto
unloadit whenyouwantto printon a singlesheet.Theprinterwill“park”
it for youif youfollowthe procedurebelow.
1. Paperparkingstarts with powerON, fanfoldpaper loadedin printing
position,the releaseleverup.
2. Pressthe(
ONLINE
) buttonon thecontrolpaneltosettheprinteroff-
line(ON
LINE indicatorof~.
3. Tearoff the printedformatthe last perforation,leavingnotmorethan
abouthalf a page showingabovethe top cover.If necessary,press the
(PAPERFEED)buttontofeedpaperfonvarduntilaperforationislocated
just abovethe topcover,and tearthere.
4. Press the( ‘W&4RcT)
buttonon thecontrolpanel.
Theprinterwillautomaticallyfeedthefanfoldformbackwarduntilthe
paperis completelyfree of the platen.
5. “Movethe releaseleverto the downposition.
6. Mountthepaperguidein theuprightposition.
Now you can load singlesheetseither automaticallyor manually,as ex-
plainedpreviously.The fanfoldpaper remainsparked at the back of the
printer.
Paperunparking
Whenyouwantto resumeusingfanfoldpaper,theprocedureis as follows.
1. Removeall singlesheetsfromthe printer.
2. Mountthe paperguidein the horizontalposition.
3. Movethe releaseleverto the up position.
4. Pressthe ( ‘EFEAECT) button.Theprinterwillautomaticallyfeedthe
parkedfanfoldpaperintopositionfor printing.
