PAPERFEEDbutton
If youpressthisbuttonwhileoff-line,the paperwill feed forward.If you
holdthebuttondown,theprinterwillperformconsecutiveline feeds.
IfyoualsopresstheON
LINEbuttonwhileyouareline-feeding,thepaperwill
feed automaticallyto thetop of thenextpage.Thisis explainedlater.
If youpressthisbuttonwhileon-line,thiswillalternatelyselectandcancel
the Quiet mode. When in the Quiet mode, the printer will print slightly
slower,but at a reducednoiselevel.
PITCHbutton
Thisbuttonallowsyoutoselecttheprintingpitch.Rememberthattheprinter
mustbe off-linefor you to do this. Successivepressesof this buttonwill
illuminate(and select)thefollowingoptionsin order:
